Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students:
We hope you are all doing well and maintaining your health and sanity in this crisis. We miss the children here at school so much! We thank you for being flexible with us as we transition into remote learning.
This plan is currently in place through April 3. Additional time will be determined by Dr. Ott as the situation warrants.
Lessons and assignments will be provided online in Google classroom for K-5 for students to access from home. There will also be paper and pencil activities/lessons available if you prefer.
Hard Copy Assignments: Families who prefer hard copies of the remote learning options/packages can be picked up and dropped off at students’ home campuses this Monday from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm and Tuesday from 7:30 am - 1:30 pm and from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm.
Online Learning: Will occur through google classroom and Clever.
Teacher Virtual Office Hours: Teachers will hold virtual office hours Monday-Thursday from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm to provide instructional support for students. Please email your child's teacher with any questions related to the weekly assignments and they will determine whether to support via email, phone or video chat.
Grading and Feedback: Teachers will provide feedback and grades for completed assignments through Skyward and/or Google Classroom. Due to the changes in instructional delivery, the grading guidelines will be modified, and we will eliminate all major assessment grades while utilizing remote learning. Remember, these assignments will be GRADED weekly and entered into your students's skyward grade average.
If you or our student needs assistance, 5th grade teachers will be available to answer questions Monday-Thursday from 8:3o-12:00. You can contact us via email or by phone or by messaging your teachers in their Google Classrooms.
