This year, Mrs. Sula and her students have started a Happy Sunshine Club!
In this club, students are taught a positive character trait as well as how to be campus leaders. Students all had a chance to apply if they met the requirements of having passing grades and good attendance.
During their first meetings, students came up with ideas on how to promote kindness, respect, and honesty around Garcia. Throughout the year, they also made cards to staff to make them feel appreciated. Currently, members are working on a STAAR song that will encourage others during the STAAR Pep Rally!
